Hi guys and especially caregivers. I have written my first blog at beingnella.com. I would appreciate any comments...my husband was diagnosed nearly 25 years ago and as his primary caregiver, this is my story. Well an intro anyway :-)

I can't find it. Would love to read it as I'm a caregiver too but right now hubby is more of one for me with my Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue which I think my active Epstein Barr virus has caused. I hadn't heard of it until Dr. checked. I'm supposed to rest and avoid stress....anybody laughing yet...to get it to go dormant. It's been over 2 yrs.

Colloidal silver is suppose to force EBV into remission I think. That is not good you are unwell.

I have only just written an intro on my new blog page...

I hope you are telling better soon!

Thank you. I finally read your blog and am looking forward to more. What is colloidal silver for E.B.V.

My hubby's PD came on before 70....he's 74 now so I think that's a good thing as he won't have so many years to deal with it. He was always so active...coached starting with oldest daughter, soccer, then 1st son, other daughters tho they preferred dance or orchestra, and he played in his adult years and refereed. So difficult that he can't run but it's age too...I can't either. We've watched many kids and grandkids play soccer, basketball, vollyball, track too, youngest son even tried football. Our oldest daughter earned a sports scholarship that caused much stress and got hurt so she left)her 3 girls have done well too in H.S. but don't want one. The youngest is 16...other 2 in college. Our daughter, their mom, died of cancer at 41. almost 11 years ago. Their dad did a great job and finally has re-married. We all like her which helps a lot and she likes sports. I'm rambling but it was hard to even get to their events...an hour away but we want to support the last one too. Our 1st son played soccer as does his grown boys, and vollyball. they are 6ft 4" and 6ft7". We have seen their indoor soccer games with their dad playing but never have seen vollyball. Our 3rd daughter's boys were in baseball for awhile but they, like their dad, like golf and camping. Then there's our 2nd daughter (a grandma to 2 boys) Her oldest girl who could've had a sports scholarship but got her health and personal trainer degree on her own. Her sister and her bro are parents now and loving it, but youngest sister is working her way thru college. All were in sports but she was the only cheer leader. Their nephew, who's dad is coaching him at only 3/4 will be fun to watch but that kid could kick a soccer ball before he could walk so it's not forced on him. We'll want to watch him, even if it's in wheelchairs...it's nearby. I am not athletic but tried soccer at 34 for 1 yr. And we enjoyed bowling. I was a professional rooter and bringer of snacks for everyone.

Nice meeting you.

Colloidal silver is anti-bacterial but AFAIK is ineffective against viruses.

I am in the same situation: have had fibromyalgia for 13 years - which makes me constantly tired and gives me a lot of pain - and I also had glandular fever in my teens (aka Epstein Barr). My husband was diagnosed with PD 18 months ago. I am really worried about being able to look after him as the disease progresses....

Nella I love your blog! You're a good writer, and your post is honest, graceful -- even funny. I love how you say you decided not to swear, then swore a couple sentences later :-)
