my mother has PKD from 9 year she deterioted progssive she juststand and 3 step yesterday acute loss of mobilty can not sit ddwan n there is tone in musle static by neurologial examination but not sitdowon if sit dwon leaning forword is this attack reverisble or is this late stage of disease iam worry is physiotherby role in treat

What medicines does she take. At nine years i could hardly get through the day. I started taking Sinemat and exercising and now at 12 years with pd i go all day from 3 am to 10pm.

No one in my family can keep up with me.

I also take Requip

My husband has had pd for 24 years and a month ago he got the flue badly since then the musles in his mouth and throat are stopping him from being able to swollow and he can,t sit up in a chair he had the dbs eight years ago it was not a sucses does any one know if this is the last stage in parkinsons he hasn,t walked on his own for 18 months since he went into the nursing home

Sorry to here about your mum mine also bad. Has had previously for 15 years now , physio seems to help a little
