WISH I COULD HELP.... SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED SERATONIN MORE THAN DOPAMINE, BIT OF SUNSHINE, A VALENTINE?
I definitely need something ! My old life would be good
Bea
YAH, WOULD BE NICE, OTHER DAY I SAID; USED TO DO MY OWN CONSTRUCTION...PLUMBING...ELECTRICAL...(:LIVE IN THE COUNTRY) NOW, I COULDN'T CUT THROUGH A MELON.... MIND YOU MELONS IN THIS ZONE ARE QUESTIONABLE...
Bea, sounds like the increase in the meds might be worse than the problems the increase was meant to help! I found my PD nurse was available on e mail or a phone call in such situations. If the increase is causing very low BP (that happens to me ) you probably need the dose/timing adjusted.
I have always taken med increases slowly, often more slowly than the prescribing dr says. It can take some time for your body to get used to changes.
Hi hikoi
Thank u , yes I rang her and we have had to adjust dose and slow down dose to one a week and I'm still struggling with that. I just feel so poorly. It's awful you wonder if u are better off without the drugs but then remember ... I can't move without them !! Tough choice !!
On a up note the sun is shining here this morning x
Bea
hi sorry to hear that bea.have you tried azilect.1 per day it helps me as its like a sling shot when u take madapar together, give u a bit of rest when u take the two together.
Sending warm wishes, I know the tough times. Hope you have friends to support you . You will find a way through this I'm sure x
Is Madopar the only PD med you are taking? Is your low BP the same when lying down or only when standing? What is your BP, exactly?
