I'm a 68 yr. old male and I was diagnosed in 2006 and am presently awaiting DBS.

I also have sciatic nerve problems that will not let up. My family Dr. tells me that DBS could

take care of the sciatic problem, do anyone know this for sure?

What kind of sciatic nerve problem? Unless it is related to Parkinson's I would not expect DBS to make any difference.

Garlic milk really works, when you press it straight into milk there is no odor. I used about a half a bulb at a time twice a day. Into hot milk. Took a couple weeks.

If the DBS stops a tight muscle irritating the sciatic nerve you may still need something to calm the nerve response down even if the cause has been dealt with. I found low dose gabapentin which by the way is not a muscle relaxant as such was very effective at calming chronic sciatic pain. I've read that sciatic nerve pain is common among PWP's
