Welcome NB (Newbie). I am not familiar with CBD
I've been following this Parkinson web site for three weeks and I have the same question. The way it is used I think it is a type of medication or treatment of some sort.
Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) & Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP)

Here you go
CBD refers to Cannabidiol. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canna...
There is also a CBD oil (Hemp oil). You might want to google it but I believe PwP's (people with PD) use it to help tremors and/or sleep.
See! now wasn't that simple? LOL
The vocabulary is confusing yo start with, especially since we are an international group.
I find that Google helps a lot and then pick the definition that fits best.
So CBD could refer to the condition somebody he's, it's not Parkinson's but Parkinson's-like.
When I discuss CBD it is related to marijuana. High CBD means it is used for medicinal purposes. The other half of marijuana is THC. THC is what gets you high and "stoned." Both can help with pain as far as I know..
Hi and welcome I can tell you that CBD stands for Cordacobasil Degeneration my husband has this, it's part of the Atypical Parkinson's. If you go on google type in Atipical Parkinsons you will your answers. I hope this helped and you are well.
Well I tolled you it was simple.
, so glad you asked @Price69, i've been wondering the same thing forever. it got to the point that i almost gave up reading these as i didn't know what they were talking about. maybe now we will both find out.
