It took a lot of persuading but once my husband had his first massage, he set up regular appointments. It helped his posture and improved his sleep.

Sorry to say but he was killed in a truck pedestrian accident 3 years ago. He did go for regular massages up until then.

beauxreflets, an interesting read. I assume you are the author? Seems to include definitions that the author has developed, such as Inner Cyclic Motions (ICM) and Relax Datum (RD)., at least they are new in my reading? Is a further discussion of their definition available?

What is the take away? Bottom line, in a sentence or two.?

Hi Bill,

Yes I am the author, and I developed the definitions in my effort to get my head around PD, how the nervous system works (as I have experienced it) and some of my symptoms (as all I hear is the phrase 'We don't know how this occurs..... all we know is loss of dopamine bla de bla but Ledopa will help etc.); Which is so depressing when there is no upside!

The take away, For sufferes - Is to encourage a more positive attitude towards managing PD (rather than letting PD manage our lives) through self searching and developing personal strategies that will hopefully help to slow the progression.

Bottom line, PD is not going to be cured over night but the more folk talk about how it effects them and its diversities (even if it is privately to their close team), finding cures may advance more quickly for each individual case.

Hopefully my article may also change lifestyle attitudes that appear to be unkind.

I hope that Relax Datum (RD) is taken on board, adopted by the Medical Proffession and used in a RD Score Level (much in a similar way but opposite to the 'Out of 1to10 how do you rate the pain?') As that would certainly help with getting treatments and meds more focused and balanced for each individual.

This would also help determine how well an injury has healed inside the muscle :)

Not what you're looking for?
