This is really important. Since they can measure the molecules being emitted, it gives a measure of how the PD is progressing. The lack of the ability to measure the disease progression has always been a major stumbling block in identifying effective treatments. MJ Fox mentioned this a long time ago.

She was able to diagnose one of the controls as having PD before anyone knew he had PD.

Has anyone out their lost their taste.i lost mine almost a year ago. No good. I"m still thankful for what I can do. Thank the Lord for that.

Have you also lost your sense of smell? Taste goes when you lose that.

12stargate asked about sense of taste 19 days ago & mine was one of 28 replies. I have lost my sense of smell & I was thinking perhaps my taste was being affected by meds but maybe it is the PD. A lot of the time things taste bitter or salty--no problems with sweets, thank goodness!
