Hi Rajbhai;
I am not medical doctor. Maybe you should ask him.
My experience with coconut oil is that it does no harm.
I am on several meds for PD.
How I use it is for frying, moisturizer on my skin, and oilpulling.
Google oilpulling to see the benefits of that.
I don't take olive oil, i just use it in everyday living.
Let me knoe how it goes.
The veery best to you.
In loving kindness, Eva Gabrielle
I use it for cooking and baking and also do "oil pulling" with it. This is an ancient Ayurvedic teeth cleaning technique that helps to pull out toxins from the body. Does it help?--well everything I do I believe helps in a cumulative fashion. Good luck with this-coconut is a great health secret in all formats. (Oil, flour, coco-wraps, vinegar, sweetner, shredded, water & milk--you name it!
I use coconut oil all the time I use it to fry eggs and I add a little sprinkle of turmeric. I use it to fry out meat, hamburger meat, in salads. I even use it on my skin as a moistorizer and use it in my hair.
Suppose to be very good for you
Coconut oil enables neurons to use a different energy path than the one that is impaired in PD cells that may be compromised but not yet dead (complex 1 is impaired). As such, it may protect those cells. A cell that is able to get more energy (from the alternate path) may protect itself from a-Syn better. It can definitely give an energy or mood boost in those without PD. I known people o take in order to exercise better. It may help the remaining cells produce more dopamine. But I have not detected it reducing my thumb tremor like nicotine seems to.
