It seems to work very well for some people, including some whose symptoms are pretty advanced. Tel Aviv University med school is actively researching this and has reported some dramatic successes not only in folks with PD but also halting epileptic seizures. Sanjay Gupta did a documentary on the subject that was a bit sensational but also had some good science in there. It's on YouTube. You may have seen these articles:

Yes I take it at night to help me sleep and relax my muscles. It's very good and also neuroprotective.

at dixies botanicals, they have qualities of oil. they can ship worldwide, but it's expensive, 1oz=$40 but 2oz=$160 coz it's more concentrated, 2.5 more concentrated,

It depends where you are. In the US its legal in some states, I'm in the UK where it is illegal but it's a risk I'm prepared to take as without it I can't sleep and my doctor won't prescribe sleeping pills as they cause dementia and are addictive.

I saw that it is legal in all 50 states. There are so many companies offering it & it seems to be very expensive. I was wondering how much you take.

I bought £150 worth ($220?) which I think will last me a year. I diluted it with oil and have about 4 drops a night.

In the US I guess you get it on prescription or from a medical marijuana place.

Cannatonic, but there are lots of high CBD oils available. There is a website called Leafly which goes into a huge amount of detail

Thanks Trixiedee. I googled 'CBD and neuroprotective' and found some very interesting articles. It seems remarkable that this is the only drug/substance for which there is clinical evidence of neuroprotective qualities and yet it is not really discussed much on these forums. There's been lots of fuss over the neuroprotective affects of Azilect - the drug company were trying to promote the drug based on this claim, unfortunately medical marijuana does not have the same big backers and also happens to be illegal, which doesn't help.

Cannabis is a schedule 1 drug which means they believe it has no medical value and is considered more dangerous that heroin! While at the same time it is being used medicinally all over the world to treat cancer, epilepsy, MS, crohns etc.

A vaporizer and a Indica concentrate is what gets me thru the day and It makes having PD tolerable, less tremor, better sleep and better attitude. Some say of course your stoned, well ok if thats how I am perceived so be it, While others search I think I have found.

Here is a company who is selling cbd oil. A It is legal, studies showing its more bio-available than many on the market. Here is an informational site. hempoilrocks.com and if you would like to try a bottle, here is a web site. healfromnature.com It doesn't claim to heal or treat anything, however are there are many articles on google.
