But , the study was done using rats, not people and the "PD-like" rat decease was caused by giving the rats rotenone. The highest antioxidant beverage , one that has been proven to help Alzheimer is now bad for you. This study only shows that If I was a rat maybe I should not mix rotenone and Pomegranate juice. This is the science that we are depending on to find a cure? I wonder who sponsored this research. Thanks for showing us this.

( I wonder what symptoms the rats have to qualify to be "PD Like"? did a movement specialist-like person examine them or just a doctor-like person? did they respond to sinamet-like meds, did they feel better if they exercised ? did they previously have any pomegranate allergy? how many were on placebos? Are these the same rats from the coconut study?)

You have a better way to investigate this? Do tell. Meanwhile you can drink all the pomegranate juice you like. Go ahead. Oh, and if you were actually interested in the answers to your questions you could purchase the full article.

Now don't take it personal its not a study that you did and I appreciate that you showed it to us. Yes I do have a better way. It takes many years of observance of people who have a disease and careful gathering of information an then professional analysis.

First this study produced by the introduction of a toxin in some other non human animal a disease that resembles (in some undefined way) a human disease. Then as a result they announce that what may be one of the best antioxidants to fight the real disease (in Humans) is the worst thing that you can take.

If humans took the same toxin and the result still resembled PD would you trust PD medication or would you look into getting something to counter the toxin ? BAd Science Bad Bad Science

The main reason I published this was that I've been juicing a lot of pomegranates lately and I've noticed my off time is increasing. I will not be drinking it any more unless I find another explanation for my negative change.

I like to buy the seeds, making sure to get the organic variety. This is so surprising. I know I am not a rat, but I don't want to take a chance, so I guess I will give it up. They are a great substitute for sugar for me.
