gout in foot

Hello, I was diagnosed PD about 8 years ago, currently on carbidopa/levadopa and comtan. Tried all the other medications to no avail for various reasons. Currently developed gout in my foot. Anyone else experienced this? Don't know if it's related to PD or meds or???

I have pain in my foot for 10 weeks now doc says its not gout had mri to day to see what it is the pain is unbearable have pd 2 yrs do u have pain all the time

I've had PD for 2 yrs. Diagnosed with achilles tendinopathy in both heels, most severe in left heel, my bad side. The pain is agonising and I am unable to walk for months now. Have experienced shortness of breath and swelling in lower legs and feet. I can't be sure but my gut instinct is all this is attributed to "Mirapex" rather than PD. I have been referred to a specialist for investigations and a diagnosis. Meanwhile, I am left housebound and some days crying with pain and frustration.....I had no idea of the suffering involved in this dreadful disease and this is only the beginning of my journey. I remain determined to stay positive but my positivity and determination have received a mighty blow.
