During one of my wakeful periods last night, of which there are many, this song
came into my head- don't ask me why.
As with life, I feel this is true of Parkinsons. We never have a smooth ride, all ups and downs, sometimes more downs, occasionally more ups. I have never liked Rollercoasters and could say the same of Parkinsons. But we soldier on, always trying to get off this Rollercoaster, either with meds, of which there many, finding the right one is not always easy, by exercising, which I do - though still no weight loss, trying to appear positive no matter how we feel inside and so it goes on.
I am determined to present a smile to the world and continue to fight this particular Rollercoaster. It will not defeat me even thought it must be one of the largest and most used in the world.
Hope today is an 'up' day for us all.

Me too, Sue! I hope you have a happy day. I'm taking a break from this rollercoaster....don't intend to ride it today. I'm visiting my 2 granddaughters today, age 3 months and 2 1/2 yrs.....they make me forget my problems and put a smile on my face. It's going to be an "up" day for me, and I hope for you, as well!
