Don't be depressed,he has trousers from 32in 34" 36" 38",and we are still struggling, joggers are best around the house, and for casual wear

I too have the same problem...received meds from doctor and still have no relief. Answer given to me is the parkinson medications. ~~~Dennis

Bloating seems to be part and parcel of it all

For me it surprised me by waiting until after losing weight around the time of my diagnosis, and continuing to do so for another 7 ish years and until after having my dbs. Then suddenly and for the first time in my life I gained 30lbs.

Now my abdomen is very swollen and I can detect the onset of moobies! Major bummer!

The medical term for the condition is "abdominal bloat". and is PD related. I also went from a 32 inch waist to a 36 without gaining a pound. I, (foolishly), asked my GP if there was anything I could do for it and she muttered something into her hand that she obviously thought was very funny and which she wouldn't repeat. Google has some good info on the condition.

my husband lost 30 pounds shortly after his diagnosis in 2007. He recently lost another six so his Dr. and we are starting to worry (160 lbs, 5' 9"). He's got a little pot. We've been on a hunt for pants that fit. He doesn't want elastic waist all around. Glad to read about this. Thanks.

He has swelling of his feet with no kidney or heart problems. His left leg is swollen most. He had major surgery on a bone in his leg so the circulation is impaired.
