Does anyone else have a runny nose problem? Virtually every morning I have to blow several times before I can get out of my bedroom.

I go through about 15 tissues in the morning. Then later, almost as soon as I start my lunch, my nose starts running again. It really isn't very nice for my wife hearing the noise, especially at mealtimes. I know that there is a swallowing problem for PWP but this seems excessive.

Of course, it may be nothing to do with Parkinsons - that is the first call when blame is being asserted. It could be I am allergic to tissues!! Your experiences would be welcomed.

Yes I too have a runny nose problem. Mainly in the morning as I'm having my breakfast.

Also when I sneeze I can guarantee I'll sneeze at least 3 times usually 4.

I too have a runny nose. It can happen to me at any time but usually while eating. I also sometimes get food going the wrong way and ending up in my nose. It takes time but I can blow it out.

i too have and had a runny nose /go thru a couple of large hankies a day. and drool, but i use those to keep my mouth from drying out. lemon drops the sour ones . or my throat to dries out. and my eyes run especially in the morning when i'm doing my exercizes. but it's just an inconvenience. after a while it just becomes part of the day. and it hasn't changed my life in any way. just adjust and go with the flow. unless you like being aggravated all the time. i don't .

Thanks for the comments. The odd thing is that I have just had a spell of 11 days in hospital and I didn't have the problem.

If you did not have it in the hospital, but you do have it at home, it seems that maybe there is something at home that you are allergic to.

I experience this from time to time and most of it unexpected especially when i'm bending over and my nose starts to dribble. Can be embarrassing! I must say I thought it was an age thing. I must check with my support group to see if it is a common phenomena
