Good for you. It is a "relentless foe".Keep moving
...and, keep being the one in charge of what and how you're moving!
Right now the gold standard for slowing the progression and minimizing the symptoms of PD is EXERCISE!
Also, another thought for you ... start keeping a daily journal of your symptoms and whatever you do to combat them. It will prove invaluable for future dianoses (like when and whether you'd be a good candidate for DBS).
Best wishes!

Hell it can catch up and over take, being first in a race doesn't make you a winner..... In actual fact whilst its busy trying to get your attention by being top dog, ignore it, I do all the time. I don't give it the time of day. Ignore is not denial, it just means of my hour, day, week, month, life I spend less than 10% of my time thinking about PD. I find that works for me!
Keep moving Hamish....exercise is one of the most beneficial things we can do for ourself....and don't give in! I won't allow PD to control my life. I hate the fatigue; but when it happens, I make myself rest....don't always sleep; but rest is important. It's a battle............
Yes, exercise is the best help.
I am blessed with a neighbor who comes over and exercise with me most day...great motivator.
