It can happen because there isn't enough dopamine in the system during the offtime. Make sure you are taking it on an empty stomach so you get maximum absorption. An hour before you eat is a good way to do that. If you are having a lot of offtime and are taking your meds correctly, tell your neuro/MDS so your dose can be adjusted.
Yes I expérience weakness and shaking in my legs during off time. I am on sinemet.. it occurs after my last dose for the night has worn off.
