Hello,

I do not see why not as magnesium is a mineral that the body needs. What type of magnesium you take is important; for example the Oxide form is only 4% absorbable, whilst the Citrate form is 19% absorbable.

I have a prescription for magnesium that I take with Sinemet and Mirapex. I do take it separately, though...not at the same time as my other pills.

I have taken magnesium (orotate) for years as a supplement. It truly seemed to help with sleep issues. My neuro has no problem with the magnesium. I get it OTC..
