Hi everyone.

New here and looking for advice and support.

My mum who is 82 with Heart Failure and just out of hospital after a mild heart attack, is in horrible pain due to her osteoarthritis, she has it in her hand, both knees an d her hip. It's her hip that is worst at the minute. She can move just, in bed she can't get comfy, on sofa she can't get comfy, the pain is so bad that she just cries at times because she can't do much and of course the pain. She takes paracetamol and tramadol which does absolutely nothing. She is also very very tired, I've told her she has to sleep during the if comfortable, it's better than nothing. It's just so sad to see.

I'm just all out of options and I feel so bad for her.

Thank you for reading this far.

I know this might be a temporary solution but has she ever had steroid shots in any of her joints. That might be a relief for her in the most painful joint(s).

We are waiting on word about steroid injections. I will keep everyone posted, it's been nearly 4 weeks.
