Female, 47 years old - C25K novice

Had to walk out my 3rd run this morning because of a tight Achilles. Any tips?

Are you doing any stretches before and after?

Calf stretches and calf raises (off a step and drop your heels). Lots of them. Most Achilles problems start with tight calves.

Try a ‘roller’! Up and down the tube with the calf as you might expect, but also tipping your feet side to side, slowly, with the calf resting on it. Painful as heck, but feels so good afterwards!
