Thanks, post transplant now having waited 19 months, B+. Adjusting to life post.... did not give this enough thought, but progressing well.
The adjustments take time, take any physical rehab they offer, MrRfc is doing renal physical rehab now and he is 18 months post Renal transplant, he had slight muscle atrophy to deal with from before the op but we are hiking 14km’s and living life. I was his donor. The hospital appointments will reduce soon, glad you are on The other side of it now. Rfc x.

Very best wishes sent your way!
Thanks, post transplant now but did not give this enough thought. Progressing well though thanks to the superb staff at the Royal Free and not forgetting the donor.
Royal Free London was where my 28 yr old daughter had her very precious live donor transplant (no luck on the transplant list), two years ago this month. They were terrific, she is doing very well, as is her transplant donor angel. Look after yourself.
Thanks Millsie, I had no luck finding a live donor, but they kept me posted and eventually it came good. So pleased your daughter is doing well.
