Hi George, well I am now 72 and started C25K back in April, today I ran week 8 run 2, which is a 28-minute run, I did not go very fast, just a jog, if you are in good health there is no reason why you should not start this training program, I have enjoyed it so far. If in doubt about anything, like health and general fitness, go see your doctor for a checkup, however, if you are like me and in good health, give it a go.
I’m a mere whippersnapper of almost 54 but I understand the oldest person to complete C25K was 83, so go for it. You’re always in control, there’s lots of advice on this forum and even more encouragement Be warned - it’s addictive!

I’ll be 65 in a couple of weeks, with quite a few health issues and I graduated C25k on may 22nd. Since then I’ve managed just over 7k ( accidentally as I thought my watch was set to km and it was set to miles) and run at least 5k 3 times a week, sometimes 4.
I’m not denying there were times when I never thought I’d make it but follow the programme and the advice on here and you’ll be fine.
Good luck

We have quite a few older runners You’ll be fine as long as you go slow and steady, which we say to everyone whether they are 18 or 80
Have fun 😃👍

Like Limberlou I’m also 65 in a couple of weeks, I graduated in mid April and have now started training to do 10k. When you start, keep posting your progress on here, the support and advice from the administrators and fellow runners is amazing. We’ve all started from where you are now. You’ll love it. 😀
