C25K Graduates! On what day of the week did yo... - Couch to 5K
C25K Graduates! On what day of the week did you do W9R3? π
Please select one:
I graduated and did my first 5k race at the same time. I was just glad I didn't come last!
What makes you think Iβve graduated? Still on week 5
This is a question for those who have graduated πππ
So why did I get an email?
Could it be:
You received this email because you are a member of Couch to 5K and you have the email notification for 'When someone creates a poll in my communities' selected on your account settings.
?
No I did not select email notifications
If you tap on your picture at the top right of your screen you will get a drop-down menu. Tap on 'Settings' and this will take you to your account settings page, which includes your email notifications preferences. The option to receive an email 'When someone creates a poll in my communities' is ticked by default, but you may un-tick it if you wish.
Delete it - and pretend you never read the email π€·π»ββοΈ
I've just had to look it up on my app. I didn'tregister at the time but looking back, apparently it was Friday 13th - obviously my lucky day after all!!
Woo team Friday hehe!π
I actually surprised myself and covered 5km in one of the W8 25 min runs but my W9R3 was on a Wednesday. Mind you, the lockdown meant all days started to merge into one! Thank goodness for the C25K challenge. I think it probably helped my mental wellbeing as well as the physical.
It's so long ago now, however, I completed it with the running club that I now belong to, so with some thought I guess it must have been a Tuesday evening.
Hi. I wonder what the point of this weird question is ? Could you please let us know. Thanks. Peter.
Had to look back on strava but luckily had it recorded π
Thanks. Peter. (I finished on a Friday.)
Late- it was the ONLY RUN out of the 27 that I procrastinated on. Not sure why. I was avoiding something. But I did it!!
Looks like I'm in the minority, did mine on a Thursday!
So why did I get an email asking me?
We all get emails telling us about polls, unless we select the setting not to receive them. I'm afraid the system does not distinguish between the subject matter of the polls. I apologise if this has offended you! It looks as though you are doing really well with your goals despite a setback due to injury xx
First light Saturday morning!
I normally run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays keeping the weeks inside the actual week and allowing me a little bit of leeway should I need to move a day due to work or life.
Today!
I graduated on a Saturday morning. I was determined to do it so Iβd booked a table in a restaurant at lunchtime to celebrate. It gave me another reason to finish and I celebrated in style!π₯ππΎπ₯π₯³
I graduated today! I first started 2 years ago and this is my 3rd and only successful attempt
I'm with team Friday! Go team!!
Just had to look it up, but Friday. Seems pretty popular by the look of it
I wanted to become a graduate before I became another year older and I did, the day before my birthday!
Had to look it on on Strava π was the 4th July (Saturday)
Did it on a Saturday feeling well chuffed and happy clocking 5.5km in 30 minutes. 9 weeks on, Iβve been nursing a very sore soft tissue ankle injury which is very painful and so Iβve started the whole thing again. Just finished wk1 run 3
ππ
Can't believe I can't remember but it was 1 month and about 8 runs ago
Should of been a Friday but bottled it as the weather was horrific- I do actually now love running in the rain!
Mine was on a Saturday at 5 42 am in the pouring rain. I didn't manage 5k but it didn't matter. I'd completed the c25k and was so happy and proud of myself!
I clicked on canβt remember, then saw the reply saying theyβd checked the app. I checked and it was a Friday. I wonder what day I will complete it next time when I get off this Injury/shielding couch! π
Not sure what it says about me but I graduated on April fools day!! π€¦π»ββοΈ
9am. Local parkrun. πππ
I did my three runs starting on a Monday then rest then run on Wednesday then rest then run on Friday
Had to go back and check on Strava and then check the calendar. It was a Wednesday back in August 2018. Remember the run well. I was determined to run 5k and I managed 5.1k in 38.37. I walked 1km home and then slumped in the kitchen and didn't move for what seemed like a few days ππ
1yr 8months ago completed C25K.
4 weeks ago ran jujus plan 60mins, then 2wks ago ran 10km.
It was a Sunday! April 2018. Checked my i pad calendar and being a geek had recorded every run including time and distance. I downloaded the Goddess Laura podcasts and ran using my wait for it - I pod nano π₯° how technology has moved on, even since then, (but lets not talk Garmin) π
I graduated a couple of years ago listening to Laura............on my I pod nano lol It did the job !!
It was brilliant! Recently I felt like listening to Laura again and did a run from Week 1 and Week 9. Brought back happy memories. π
I remember it well ( Wednesday )
Went out early, showered got to work before 8 30. Happy days.
I ran Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I always found I ran better on a Wednesday - but that last Friday was the best - what an achievement.
I was hoping to find the actual day I graduated on here somewhere but it was two years ago on holiday in Ireland
I graduated on Tuesday 24 March this year and IannodaTruffe gave me the rather dubious honour of being "The first graduate of the lockdown" ! What a notorious claim to fame!
I'm still running, and thanks to your fabulous bridging plan roseabi, I am now onThe Magic Plan, just as you said ππββοΈ.
Longest run so far was the 50 minute one last week, when I covered 6.2K.
Loving it!
You are such a superstar πππ
Friday ... or should i say Fri-yayyyyyy!
I'm riding shotgun with Plattszo for hers and i think she's settled on a Fri-yayyy too!... It's a fab start to the weekend so almost feels like a double whammy but lets be honest... ANY day is fab!.. its the achievement we've all been waiting for!
Can't thank this place enough!... feel super chuffed to have found it and our amazing little running family!
I really liked what you and MccHa did with your virtual graduation run, made me think about the most popular graduation days - not surprised that Friday has come top! xxx
It was a brilliant day.. such a buzz and such energy on here!
A run the world theme!...
loved it! Love this place
Donβt apologise for asking... tho to be fair they are the first person Iβve come across on here like that! Itβs almost burst my C25K happy bubble .. I say almost cos there are way toooo many lovely people on here to negate that!
We would all be lost without you admins etc who run the site so thank you ππ» I hope you feel valued! x
I graduated on Friday before work and my colleague during her lunchbreak. We were able to share the news on the Teams chat with our colleagues who have been supporting us for the past 9 weeks..
Looked it up... it was a Friday πππ»
W5R3 was a Sunday
And I did W1R1 on Tuesday! π€£
It was Christmas Day, I know that. So I could look it up - if I could remember the year π€£π€£π€£
Google photos reliably informs me it was a Sunday.
Think mine was a Thursday π€¨
Just looking through some older posts of C25K and came across this one, I will never forget the date, the day, the place and the time I graduated from C25K, it was Monday 18th June 2018 at exactly 10.30am that I ran run 3 of week 9 of C25K and graduated, I ran it about 30 miles away from where I live, along the promenade at Helensburgh on the West Coast of Scotland, I have been there many times since I graduated but I have only ran on that promenade once since that great day, it was a 5K (not ) parkrun in around 34 minutes, most other times I have been at Helensburgh I go a brisk walk beside the sea.
