I don't understand on my poll I have that age bracket. My poll start at 16 -20 and that's no there either. ,!!

I suspect if no one has yet voted in that category, it won't include it in the narrative for the results....

Ah that might make sense. It will be interesting to see if it's a technical error or we have less members of that age group than I thought.

Yep, that might well be it, RFC. Good thinking Originaltigger !

I could see those additional categories before i voted. Im guessing no one has used those other no-show categories yet.

Hahaha, just to stir the pot RFC, I am 69.5. Where do I stand? With the young 69 or with the old 70 (80) ........ I picked the 69 πŸ˜‡

I'm not sure what's happening when I looked at the poll 70 to 79 is there but I can't go in as a new user to check what's happening. Something is against me today

Maybe the gremlins are taking their revenge on us for being so good 😁 . Not to worry. It is a very interesting survey.

Nice one! Whilst one usually rounds up, I totes agree with you to go for 60-69! πŸ˜€

You look less than 69 for sure so go with the lower age πŸ‘

48 so only just sneaked in to my category.

I do like my mid crisis :-) and the fact I took up running and have never looked back, other than to reminisce

Best thing I ever did with my clothes on, I never thought I would ever run 5K , just completed my 25th Parkrun at 73

my 60th birthday year challenge was to try running! Enjoying it...

Really like this poll. There is a lot you can glean from it.

I think it might be fair to assume that our C25K was a representative cross section of the population who did some sort of exercise (excluding professional and semi-professional sports men/women) and it probably does. I guess most amateur Sports clubs such as football etc are made up of under 20's.

If the proportions were reversed of the take up by age which is ideally what it should be we wouldn't have half the health problems that the country has perhaps ?

I may be typical in that definitely I stopped playing sports or doing exercise outside of occasionally cycling to work after I turned 20. Only purposely done exercise when 60 for C25K ! If the tendency was for younger age groups to be more active then would be less need for us old uns to get out running.

I think after school the pressure of work family and combined with fast food and more sugar loaded products has been our downfall. Worth a discussion perhaps not for the scope of this site.

Are there any stats anywhere for what age groups do some sort of sport / exercise ? and analysis ?

Brill analysis Joe! Just need to recognise that in the younger age groups it could be that many have no need to follow this programme as they have retained a level of fitness through maintaining an exercise regime and can run a bit already πŸ˜ƒ Great that us older folk are picking up on a healthy lifestyle, we can influence our younger family members πŸ‘πŸΌ

I haven't graduated yet. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I need to make sure I complete all the runs in one week before moving on. As a result, I've been doing week 3 for over a month now. Finally completed that last week and will now tackle week 4.

I'm a bit confused by the poll. Is the green result for 40-49 or 80 - 70?
