How old were you when you graduated? Just to get a little idea of our average ages on here. Obviously we know runners are ageless.

I was a previous runner who after a few years of neglect and then muscle/tendon issues used the program to return to some degree of fitness!!

This is misleading! It should be 40 - 49 then 50 - 59 then 60 - 69 etc etc. People like me who put "50" could be either GREEN or PURPLE depending on what box you clicked on. I DEMAND A RECOUNT YOUR HONOUR!!! Hahahaha!!

And there are going to be quite a lot of people in that particular category I suspect.

Hello you, long time no hear, how you doing? I admit I've not had my finest moment today, I've done another poll. Hope you are well.

I'm tickety boo RFC! Hope you are well too. I'm still tonking like a lunatic along the river thames three times per week. however, I seem to be getting slower......which is a bummer!

Agreed as a complete newbie my aim was to be able to run by the time I was 60 so started at 59! Any way at 65 now I still love c25k and have unashamedly repeated the programme a few times building up speed and stamina over the years.

I'm. 67 should be Between 60-70 so as I'm feeling fit had to put 50-60 I'm sure it's just to get a general idea of the age groups so no big deal but pie chart is interesting as it looks more like 30 upwards are more concerned with getting fit .

Ok I'm doing it again. No matter how many times I do a poll I always get it wrong. Not my best moment I agree. 😩

You are brilliant! :)

Before I was 30 I was fit as most of my activities were active ones. Then there was children, a decade or so generally characterised by exhaustion. :) Its only since they've left that I am picking up on my own activities again and learning that I can run! I think one of the keys for future health is to be active when you're younger. Maybe the habit of long walks, horse riding, days out on beaches will mean that my children have active lives embedded in their muscle memory somewhere!

I hope so, I do not hold out too much hope for the future generation at the moment.

Yep... I am a mere youngster :)

I actually graduated just before my 67th birthay earlier this year, but the poll didn't include a 60-70 age range. Since then I've kept up with C2K plus podcasts, although still too slow to do 5k in 30 minutes!

There is a second poll, after my mistake I have corrected it.

Why no 60 - 69 and 70 - 79 group? If you're having a poll, surely the categories could be correct. What's the point otherwise?

Only halfway through W5 and I am 70 in 2 months so fingers crossed I will be able to say I have graduated in a few weeks.

Hi RFC, hope all went well with your HM.👏👏

I am so looking forward to graduating in a-couple of weeks, 74 - 75 years young. No drama what category I am in,as long as I am moving.👍

The test is, if I wake up in the morning, I am fine.🤔😂😂😂

Finish week 7 tomorrow. As you know 3x28’s and 3x30’s and it is job done.👍

Amazing communities, not enough time to be involved with too many, but can observe the fabulous support being given.🌟👏👏

I am new to this and finding all comments & replies quite helpful.

This age group poll also interested me and I am pleased to see it is being used by members.

It is inspiring to see the 'ageless' in the older age groups participating in the vote. Would be good to read more from them.

I know from the BBC Horizon documentary by Dr Michael Moseley (still available on You Tube?/iPlayer? I believe) one man who did the London marathon around 2012 when the documenrary was made was 101 years old. How age defying is that! ...and shows there is no excuse for the rest of us.

Having said that not knowing the importance of wearing appropriate running shoes and technique I was quite devastated when come run 6 I did some significant damage to my knee since March (I did Run1 beginning February). The knee is still recovering and has tendency to swell a bit.

I used to get those highs after doing those runs and could not wait for the next one.

So now I am cautiously doing half the time on elliptical cross trainer and half on treadmill after which I hope to go back to the beginning - Run 1? again as my confidence has been knocked.

Take care all.

Run safe & Run happy
