A fun poll - chocolate eggs - run because you've eaten them or run because you want to eat them. Really not a serious poll.

I love to earn my chocolate it tastes better 😃🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫

I just need to run, being able to have a cheeky piece of chocolate after is just an added bonus 😃

To be honest I'd run anyway, and eat chocolate anyway but if I run then I feel no remorse about the chocolate I have scoffed or am about to scoff. Win win :)

I think one fundamental option is missing: "I have to keep my mind off chocolate eggs - I need to run" :P

God how I love cheese 🧀 Full of calcium. Also, it is made from milk, which comes from cows, who eat grass. Cheese is a vegetable and one of my 5 a day. Fact.

You don't like chocolate?!? I'm afraid I have to "unfriend" you!

No, wait! You said you buy chocolate for your friends? Never mind then, I still consider you my best friend!

:D

I think knowing I have a chocolate egg tomorrow and may not have a convenient time in the day tomorrow to run did get me out there this morning... but I do just need to run. (And my running will not burn the calories in the egg)

I ate half of my hotel chocolat egg sandwich (made of chocolate!) Last night. I was over on MFP but not by too much.  Going to break the rest up into calorie counted portions!  Only way. Just found FOUR of those bl..dy choc bunnies in spare room! He's got a stash! Anyway nothing to do with me...... I am keeping away

Sugar being the Great Satan and all that, chocolate eggs and pretty much all chocolate is so far off the food agenda. And I would rather eat my own spleen than eat carob. Who invented carob? Who thought it was a good idea to foist it on vegetarian and beardy sandal types as a chocolate substitute? Someone who had an active grudge against beardy sandal vegetarians, presumably. I can understand that motive, but carob... bleccch.

I have bought a small E.egg for each of my children. They all opted to have a small egg and a present rather than Big Eggo or baskets of mini eggs etc. They still do a clue-based hunt (written in Rupert-style rhyming couplets, which are a terrible curse to think up every Easter Sunday morning.) but just don't get the overload of cheap sugar rush at the end of it. Mind-rotting video games instead of tooth-rotting chocs. That's progress.

I'm with you Rignold. In my case, I am eating low carb high fat and it's great - sugar addiction is gone. It's not deprivation not to eat any chocolate at Easter. I wouldn't want to put that sugar into my body any more. Well done for getting your children mostly off the sugar too.

I answered yes to all the questions Ha ha !

Sadly, chocolate is out of bounds at Chez Pug as even if I have just a teeny tiny piece , I know I will want more and it will kick off a full blown chocolate binge :-(

I'm okay with it though, I'm not grumbling, well not much , maybe just a bit :-)

I would rather have a apple anyday . Said. Me. Never :-)

Happy Easter folks ! :-) xxx

I inhale a hot cross bun each time I walk past them. I need to run. Or cycle, or swim, or walk.

I supposed I am in the red section because I am in front of you guys time wise. Actually to balance the chocolate, I should really run a marathon! 😱

Not a big choccy scoffer either, like Floss my downfall is cheddar. And wine, can't have one without the other!

I love running and I love chocolate... equally

I have a tub of mini creme eggs. I'm allowed one when I reach a goal...

I am working on the theory that Sir Ralph Fiennes ate about 60 mars bars on one of his journeys across Antartica to give him energy as he needed endurance.

Therefore a couple of cream eggs b4 a run would do the same or perhaps 3 and 2 at the end(-: Not the same since the Americans purchased Cadburys Creme eggs.

I'm not a choco lover but have noticed I used to feel guilty about eating something and would go for a hike to burn off the offending calories. Now I've discovered running it's more like I go for a run first and foremost and then think/realise "Wow, what monstrously calorific morsel can I eat to put back all those calories?" Slight change of emphasis but the right one imho.
