inconsistent, unpredictable, occasional incontinence

I have had unpredictable bladder control for many years due to a variety of issues. As a result, I manage by wearing diapers when I think I may have an issue finding a bathroom. At times, I can go all day without the urge to pee. At other times, the urge and leakage are nearly simultaneous. I have thought about going undiapered and take my chances. Any thoughts?

personally I would rather have one and not need it, then need it and not have it. After you get used to wearing them you don’t even notice. Some days I tell myself, see you didn’t even need to wear one today. And other days I am like thank God I had one on today.

I would rather have something than not. I too have unpredictable days and weeks. So I always wear something, because I know if I don't ... that will be the day I will really wish I had!

I was getting so nervous about having an accident that I started wearing protection whenever I leave the house. Even if I'm just making a quick trip somewhere. Anxiety makes my IBS worse and wearing protection helps to control my anxiety.
