Pelvic contractions after catheter removal

I recently had a catheter removed. I have been suffering with severe pelvic contractions that keep me up all night. The contractions are not coming from my bladder but more the pelvic muscles that were irritated.

Any suggestions

I did quick PubMed search to see if I could find any medical articles that might help, and didn't find anything. I would definitely contact your urologist and tell them about these contractions/spasms that you are experiencing to see what they think this might be a result of and what to do to calm them.
