Multiple lower urinary symptoms and bowel symptoms may be early warning signs of Parkinson's Disease (PD). However, they may not be diagnosed as symptoms of Parkinson's but instead BPH, or aging, etc. It can take years sometimes to get a diagnosis of PD. And it is frustrating and infuriating! I speak from personal experience.
I personally hope that more urologists will send their patients to neurologists early on to see if there is a neurodegenerative disease at work, so that patients get early help with physical therapy and medication -- if PD or a similar disease is present.
