My stool have recently been either fluffy and broken up or flat. I've mostly been finding mucous in it. But today, I found blood. I'm freaking out. My parents are refusing to let me see a doctor about this because they think its my health anxiety, but I can SEE this.

I’m the same as you to be honest but have IBD but I’m also convinced. It’s hard at the minute because you can’t really get tests. Mine look a bit like yours do to be honest too. My first symptom was mucus for like 6 weeks before any other symptoms

Do you have any other symptoms?

Mucus isn’t normal to be seen especially if it doesn’t clear up in a few days but can be numerous things. Cancer would be the least likely, sounds like IBD

I have IBS and see mucous all the time! To me, that doesn't look like blood, it looks like food. But I would definitely atleast make a call to some type of medical professional. I would continue to monitor and record what you're seeing.

Not what you're looking for?
