Degenerative disc disease

Hi, anybody here with degenerative disc disease? I suffer from this and I’m in constant pain! My Doctors feel that it can’t be that bad so won’t give me a sick note! Unsure what I can do! Now without money so know my depression will take a hit! Anybody else ever been through this type of thing?

Yes. I'm sitting here right now with a screaming back and the numb yet full of fire and lightening screaming through my butt and down my leg to my dead and swollen foot after yet another night of less than two hours of sleep. Very sorry you're having such a hard time with your doctor. Seems that they all don't believe in constant intractable pain. Often wish I could force them to spend at least a couple hours in my flesh prison. Good luck in your battle to receive the help you need.

Do you have other illnesses? Like dercums disease by any chance?

Sorry to hear about your poor treatment Jim. I have the opposite problem, my doctor is always trying to get me to quit work so I can reduce pain meds but I’m self employed and don’t want to quit just want to be able to manage my pain enough to make that possible. I’m lucky as he helps a lot by turning a blind eye when I put my script in a bit early sometimes. Find another doctor is my advice they are not all bad.

Hi thanks for your message! I have only just moved over to universal credit! My doctor is not the problem! It’s the DWP!
