Hello Denisguay,

I was just doing some MRD math on my recent tests. By my calculations (and Spanish), I think your WBC is 7218/uL (commonly noted as 7.218 K/uL), since your lymphocytes are 27% of your WBC and you have 1949 lympocytes per microliter.

MRD-4 is defined as having less than 1 CLL cell per 10,000 leukocytes (white blood cells) which is 0.0001, also noted as 0.01%.

If you have 283 CLL cells (CD19+) per microliter and 7218 white cells per microliter, by my math that's 3.92% MRD.

To qualify as U-MRD (MRD-) you must have less than 0.01%. Hopefully others come to the same conclusion, don't take my word for it!

This number seems reasonable for someone on ibrutinib:

"The median MRD at 4 years was 3.8 × 10−2 CLL cells/leukocyte in blood" from: ashpublications.org/blood/a...

ibrutinib MRD in blood over time
