Enlarged neck node

I am almost 5 years in to w&w. I have had a chronically enlarged lymph node on the right side of my neck since day 1. In the last week it has enlarged to the point of being highly visible (think Frankenstein). I don’t have any b symptoms other than fatigue. I am scheduled to see my onc for our 6 month check in early November. At this point I am thinking I will just monitor it and call if any other symptoms develops but I am pretty in my head about it. Thoughts??

Sorry to inform you, but you really do need to get that node checked out, given it has increased in size over the past week. With 13q del, you aren't at increased risk of Richter's Transformation (RT) but given we all share that risk and early intervention is your best option should RT be the cause, you really can't wait another 2 months for peace of mind.

agreed. especially given that its on one side. RT tends to favor that presentation. not to freak you out but absolutely don't wait. i had a scare and they had to rule out richter's. i was never so happy to hear that it was garden variety progression of my cll.
