Good read. I have costly private insurance that seems like a bargain after that read.

Thank you so much for this information. Both my husband and I are retired - we're on Medicare and get a supplement, which includes Medicare Part D, through my retiree benefits program from my former employer.

Despite receiving a supplement, it is still very expensive but if in the future my husband has to go back on ibrutinib or venetoclax, currently we would only have to pay a $25.00 copay per a 30 day supply. Also, there is a cap on what we would have to pay out per year.

So considering the potential costs of treatment down the road, we're sticking with my retiree insurance.
