Me too. Today was my first day of Ibrutinib. Wishing you the best with the trial.
I think I had just finally settled into the idea of CLL when it was time to start treatment. It can be a shock even if you're expecting it. All the best wishes for a smooth process and recovery.
I'll be watching for your progress and updates with interest. Which trial or you enrolled in?
Yo Joe, good luck. What arms do they have in your trial?
Imbrutinib Obinutuzimab is one
Imbrutinib Obinutuzimab and Venticlax is the other
Wow, that’s a great trial. I am sure they know more than me, but the results of that trial appear predictable.
Basically you have the three new all rock star drugs in one trial. At least in the short term, we already know venetoclax is the most powerful drug of the three. That arm will almost certainly put more people into deeper early remissions.
Ibrutinib and obinutuzimab is a great combo on its own. I wonder what they expect to find out comparing the two combinations.
Venetoclax to me is like the bacon for all the new combinations. You wrap just about anything in bacon and it’s going to taste better.
That said, I wouldn’t be disappointed at all to be in the ibrutinib obinutuzimab arm. People in that arm are going to do great too and still have venetoclax in their back pocket for later.
Hi Joe, good luck with the treatment. I hope that you get the best arm for you!
Take care and best wishes.
