internal vibration & sensation
Sorry to hear this trivedi. What does the neurologist think is causing it? Is she having an MRI scan? I’m wondering if this is happening when she’s walking or at rest too.
It’s hard for us to speculate on the cause because it isn’t a standard CLL symptom. Is she on any treatment that may be causing this feeling of internal vibration? I know some diabetics who suffer this feeling of neuropathy like fizzing or running water down their legs but it could also be a tremor of some kind.
I wish her well but I think she needs to be guided by her neurologist on this. I’d push for further diagnostic testing if I were you.
I see this is your first post. Has your wife actually been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia trivedi?
Best wishes,
Newdawn
Hi trivedi, I am not a doctor, my reply is based on my own experience.
It’s difficult to give an opinion based on the description, but her symptoms might be due to anemia. .I also have ‘vibrations’ in my legs. I would ask her doctor to check her ferritin and iron levels and get a CBC panel done.
It is annoying and uncomfortable so I sympathize!
Best,
Fell
Is she on ibrutinib or other anti-cancer drug? I've had that experience but it was a side effect of ibrutinib. You might make sure her medications are properly evaluated.
