A great site is cllsociety.org. Among other things it has a list of reliable links to CLL specific resources with a little bit about each one. The LLS booklet is a good place to start. It can be read on line or downloaded if you are outside of the US. Once you start to get a feel for things you can look at the other resources there, but don't try to take on everything at once.Pat

I would start at cllsupport.org.uk/cll-sll/s.... This will lead you through the current understanding of CLL with articles, videos and links to the Bloodwise (LLR) booklet as well as a section on understanding your blood results.

This may well give you more than enough information and certainly a good place to start. Prof Gribben's recent talk for CLLSA at Bart's 's, as a power point ,is also available for download which covers the treatment options available in UK today and in the pipeline.

MacMillan do a booklet titled "Understanding Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia".

Very easy to read and available from your local NHS hospital oncology department or from Macmillan direct If you are in the UK.

Best wishes.

There's masses of in depth info available Lgotro but just as an introductory overview to CLL (which doesn't go into the complexities of chromosomal profiles and treatments), I found this article very good. The info suggested above is certainly worth working through once you've got your head round the basics.

Give Dr.Sharman's CLL blog a read, there's quite a bit of great info there, plus links to other educational resources.

Another really good one is produced by the Lymphoma Research Foundation. It's updated regularly by top CLL specialists, most recently in October 2014.

Also, the Lymphoma Research Foundation has a specialized site dedicated to CLL that has lots of very good stuff.
