In Flanders field......

When You Go Home,

Tell Them Of Us And Say,

For Their Tomorrow,

We gave Our Today'.

ok here is the rest

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

Just thinking about Flanders Fields. We all learned it for Remembrance Day when we were at school in Canada. It bugs me, now that I am living south of the border, that in the US there are special sales on Veterans Day. They tried to have Remembrance Day sales in Canada last year and there was a big backlash. Maybe to take my mind off my little down days, I should start a trend to get rid of them here. Any takers?
