New Blog about Challenges of Immuno-Oncology
whoops! I meant immuno-oncology!
Andrew, it's tough for any beat up patients from previous treatments facing the unknowns of a new treatment. Those of us that are able to avoid the more toxic treatments thanks to patients that are running out of choices and enrol in experimental clinical trials, certainly deserve our heart-felt thanks that we've been spared that perilous journey and are able to access safer, better treatments when we are more able to tolerate them.

Having received 6 months of toxic FCR treatment, I thank all those past and present who undergo trials. When I need further treatment I will opt for one of the non-chemo combinations, and I will be thanking all those who have been brave (or desperate) enough to trial them. Theirs is a wonderful legacy and we will not forget them.
