Have you seen CLDF’s brand new events for families, children and young people?

CLDF is always looking to improve what we offer to children, young people and families and as a result of your feedback, we have introduced three brand new types of event.

--> Time2Share is a new range of workshops for people to come together and share their experiences. The first two are aimed at young people and their parents/carers.

Saturday 2 February for young people age 11-14 and parents/carers,

Sunday 3 February for those aged 15+ and their parents/carers.

--> Sticky Art is for children age 7 - 12 with a liver disease/transplant to get together and have fun creating art to take home (no artistic skills required!).

Taking place on Sunday 10 February, the day will end with parents joining CLDF and the youngsters for an informal supper at a local Italian restaurant.

--> New regional family days are a unique opportunity for families to meet, learn and share.

Two events are being held in Cardiff and Edinburgh in the spring and will include:

• information about the liver

• presentations from paediatric liver healthcare professionals in your area

• information on the services available to you.

An informal lunch will be followed by sessions for both young people and parents/carers to explore their thoughts and experiences.

These regional family days are open to young people of all ages and their families. Crèche facilities will be available for under 11s.

***** Find out more about all the events and book your place at childliverdisease.org/famil..., or give us a call on 0121 212 6023.*****

We expect these events to be popular so please book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment!
