I had a similar experience a few years ago..I had stopped statins a short while before out of desperation, but was still in severe pain all over my body, literally everywhere! Finally a rheumatologist found that I was severely Vitamin D deficient. Treatment commenced & I have been back to normal ever since with continued supplementation. I was at my wits end and couldn't even hold a book to read as my forearms, wrists and hands were aching so much. Try get a test!
