I have to say that I found some of the comments made by Sadness inappropriate to a forum designed to share information about high cholesterol, the blog about how you would choose to die was absolutely unacceptable and I am glad that the moderators stepped in.

Anyone is entitled to say that the lipid hypothesis is a load of rubbish and there are plenty of sites who support this, but I don't think you should give an entirely one sided argument when there are vulnerable people trying to make difficult decisions.

The fact that Sadness was a nurse made the comments even more inappropriate as it lended a gravitas that was not entirely deserved. Personal opinion and I await the brickbats.

I do agree with you Aliwally. Once Sadness said he/she had been a nurse, I was very uncomfortable at some statements posted here as fact and not opinion.

I repeat, Why has sadness's account been deleted?

I accept the 'die' thing was unacceptable, though it didn't bother me too much. However,

given this is a forum for discussion of all aspects of heart health, absolutely everything is on the table for discussion.

Why was sadness deleted?

This is a question for the moderator and we all deserve an answer.

Reading her/his last post I think sadness may have just cancelled her/his membership.

What, or whoever sadness is or was, has certainly opened discussions. Perhaps that was his aim. What ever reason he had to remove himself from this forum is his and his alone. We move on.
