They are supposed to help lower cholesterol along with weight loss. All I know is that the side effects can be pretty unpleasant for some people.
The only comment i can make is that there is no easy shortcuts to healthy eating and exercise No gain without a little pain. !!!
Losing weight will lower your cholesterol for most people, but I wouldn't go near these with a ten foot pole, they have very nasty side effects and will stop your body absorbing vital nutrients - just eat a healthy diet, control portion size and exercise more.
