Over on the Success Charity WhatApp group we have had a number of people in our survivor community share various pieces of art that they are working on.

So today we are wondering, have you used art as part of your recovery journey after treatment for your brain tumour?

If so, how have you benefitted?

😊

As I've said, I'm doing my art degree because I want to be a picture book auther/ artist.

I've loved art since I was little. I always found it relaxing and didn't care what anyone thought of it ( though I did get alot of praise at home and school, lol).

In paticular, it was my GCSE teacher. Miss Wantling, who encouraged me the most with her ideas and enthusiasm. (Miss Wantling, if your reading this, THANKYOU!)

However,I found that when I did my art A-level, my teachers were the complete opposite and completely put me off for years. Untill recently, where I am determined to proove them wrong and complete my degree!
