Hi my name is Nkechi. I'm 25 years old and survivor of a intracranial germinoma suprasella hydrocephalus malignant tumour. I was diagnosed and admitted to GOSH when I was 9. They were unable to remove the tumour. I had chemo and radiotherapy and received the all clear in 2013. I have multiple hormone deficiency so have been on a series of hormone replacement medication, which I have been told are life-long.

Hello Nkechi and welcome to the community!Two years ago, my son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor when he was 2.5 years old. He has been through surgery and radiotherapy. Seeing stories like yours give me much hope for his future. I hope you stay well and get all the help you need to realise your dreams and to achieve anything YOU want to achieve.

Thank you Jojo. I am really sorry to hear that. I pray he makes a full recovery and gets stronger and healthier by the day! I shall remember him in my prayers. Thank you and I hope the same thing for your son and strength for you and your family.
