Coping with Melasma

Dear All,

My GP confirmed I have Melasma on my cheeks and nose. I was prescribed topical treatments which have not worked. That is the Melasma is still the same. I have been coping with this condition for a year now.

Has anybody had the same experience? What treatment can you recommend?

I have an Indian skin type? Does this make a difference in terms of treatment?

Kind regards

Hi Vadani65

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Changing Faces community.

I can see that you asked whether others may have information on treatments options for Melasma as you feel the current treatment you have been offered isn’t working.

Changing Faces has information on Melasma including treatments options sometimes offered which I have included a link to below in case this is helpful:

I hope you also connect with others on here and find it a supportive place to receive support.
