have to decide on surgery. I don't know my symptoms other than headaches and pain in my eye socket. I do forget words when I am talking as others on this site. Has anyone had surgery and what does it entail?

Mine too is on the right - I have had a permanent headache since first symptons on 12 December 2011

now for the past 8 months severe pain in left ear and 5 months of forgetting words.

I go for MRI under general anaesthetic on Wednesday 11 September to see if there are any changes. Never have I been offered surgery - I know it would be a very difficult decision for me to make.

I sincerely wish you well and would very much appreciate any updates you feel you would like to give. I for one find them most helpful. Best wishes

neuro surgeon has told me that the cavernoma gives no pain and has now changed his mind since I was admitted and says he does not think I should have surgery as this will leave me with more pain. Does not know what the pain is. Has referred me to pain clinic. Very confused and it seems strange that you have same symptoms as me.
