An update that I didn't want to have to post

A while ago now, I posted asking for UK tips on how to complain about a service that I was unhappy with,.

Well, a couple of days ago, I took the risk and complained to the service- put my heart and soul in to writing it, and told them everything I thought was wrong with the service, and the outcome I wanted.

Yesterday I heard from the service directly, they told me thanks for the feedback, but we're unable to take it forward because the issues extend passed 18 months (it's their policy that they can only go back 18 months), which I disagree with- not the policy, their comment. The complaint I made was about the service as a whole.

So what they are basically saying, in my eyes anyway, is that they don't care. They took away someone's dignity, someone's safety, someone's happiness, and they don't care. They literally don't care, and I am on the verge of tears knowing that I am going to have to live with that for the rest of my life

They might care but just don't want to admit to it. The person who read it, at least read what you had gone through.

I wish you all the best.
