Pullover, turtleneck, jumper, V-neck, pants. The theme is types of clothing, although the first 4 are jumpers.
I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Things had been a little busier than usual for me today. Doing okay, though.
Got up this morning and then had my usual breakfast and then a glass of pineapple juice on the side since the blood sugars were slightly lower then normal for me. Did better after that, though.
I've been at work today but a little bit fed up with myself to be honest. I have no work to do, I don't know why. Had my operation on Thursday, took Friday off so not been in since Wednesday and there still wasn't anything for me to do. Kind of feel unneeded. Does that make sense?
It makes sense. Were your coworkers aware that you were going to come in today? Did they say that there was any phone messages waiting for you? You shouldn't feel unneeded. What did your boss say when you were there first thing?
Sorry, I misunderstood. I did work mainly days although I had done some night shifts but in the main, days (06:45 - 14:45 or 13:00 - 21:00. I really do miss it, more than anything.
It's okay. No need to be sorry. I miss working, too. Before COVID started, I was working almost every day every week, but with a day or two off every other week. The Seniors were use to it, but it took time for that to happen. Now, we can't go in until someone says something about reopening. Not sure when that will happen, though.
I know we have suffered in the UK but I feel for you in the states. You have had it very bad. I think, from what we see on this side of the pond, all of the individual states seem to work seperately rather than having a national approach, is that fair to say. Of course, you had a presidential election in the middle as well, which wouldn't have helped.
In the UK, when the Prime Minister announces a national lockdown it is the whole of England. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have devolved responsibility, but on the whole, they have pretty much followed each other. They are in regular contact with each other anyway. The Republic of Ireland is separate from the UK and are still a member of Europe, which thankfully we have left.
You do an amazing job on here, I think you are brilliant.
I appreciate that very much. I have fun creating the postings and participating in them with everyone, too. We will have a new one in a few days from now.
