Hi shirleybd, I think it sounds as if you might know that you mustn't just stop them, as it can make your symptoms come back in an even worse way. So get in touch with your GP surgery and ask a doctor's advice. It usually means tapering them off gradually and the way that's done depends on which one you have and your dose. I'm back to taking one again now, but at one point I did stop mine, and was advised to reduce from one dose a day to a smaller dose, then skip each second dose, but please don't assume that's the only way to do it. You should check, for safety. Hope this helps and take care.
