Just got home from seeing my surgeon, looks like surgery on Monday. He will remove a wedge, and depending on biopsy, he may have to remove the upper right lobe.
I have to admit, I am a bit apprehensive, and very nervous, but I know that I want this cancer gone.

Certainly understand feeling nervous. Not to belittle your concerns, the surgery is common and the removal of one lobe is not going to become a big barrier to living your life. I try and remember that knowing there is a problem and then taking an affirmative action like you are is the next step forward to putting this thing cancer into remission.
Thank you Joel. I know it is a common surgery, I've been through this before. This will be the second lobe I've lost to cancer. I also have some damaged lung tissue from emphysema.
I just keep telling myself that I beat cancer once, I will do it again.
